How it works

On each of our shift knob product page, there is a section for laser engraving customization. You can choose the product color, adapter size, and matching boot retainer, followed by engraving position, patterns, custom texts, emojis and more.

For custom artwork, clear, high-resolution files produce the best result. Fine detail will be simplified to create a clean engraving at a small scale. Every custom engraving is considered against the shape, finish, and available space on the shift knob. We will contact you to confirm the size and placement before proceeding to the engraving. Please check all spelling, numbers, and other details carefully. 

Email us your artwork and we will assess it. Preferred file formats: SVG, PDF.

Important Note

  • Laser engraving permanently marks the product surface rather than applying a sticker or printed layer. 
  • Engraving on anodized aluminum will appear in bright white, which produces a great visual contrast with the product base color.
  • There will be slight but natural variation in tone for engraving on stainless steel products. From dark silver to brighter metallic shine, the engraving offers visually-appealing gradient when being looked at from different angles.
  • You can type emojis using your phone's keyboard in the customization section on the product page; however, they will be converted to line art for engraving. To make the process more straightforward, and the outcome more consistent to what you type in, we recommend using third-party websites such as Flaticon for black line art.
  • For orders with customized products, we do not offer exchange or change-of-mind refunds unless products are faulty or damaged.
